3D Human Flight Prep
It has been an exciting time the first 3 days of our production here in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. A few of us came out early to do prep work and start to do some testing of the action locations. Clint Clawson has joined us on the 3D production to film the high speed canopy scene of Andy and I racing down the massive mountain. Clint and I have been doing some practice at the location over the last few days and we’re having a blast. Clint did his first wing suit BASE jump off the mushroom on the Eiger mountain (lucky bastard!). We’ve been doing about 3 wing suit BASE jumps per day. This morning we ran the Silverhorn mountain (10,000+ feet) 4 times. It was Clint and my longest speed-fly ever. It lasted about 2 minutes. We went from the peak of the mountain, down to a glacier, over to some massive cliff edges, into a deep rock valley, then through a valley of trees and finally ending with swooping a little river/water fall to a fast landing. We are going up to do more tomorrow. Claude, our key grip, is building platforms and cranes on the mushroom as we speak. This is going to be the most exciting 6 weeks of all our lives. All i can say is wow we are spoiled!!!!
