Salton Sea


1600 miles round trip from Salt Lake City to the Salton Sea – pilots ( like me ) love the area for the favorable temperatures in Winter and the mild wind. The day before was quite windy which cleared out the haze and made for great visuals. Enjoy.

History:

- Current residence: Salt Lake City, UT -"Santa" is one of the best paraglider pilots the world has known. -Set a new North American distance record for limited fuel flight in a paramotor, covering 121 miles over Texas using oly 2.5 gallons of fuel. - First person to use a paramotor as a weather station plattform, to help university researchers gather data. - Regularly uses aviation as a therapeutic tool for the physically disabled and those with challenges like autism by taking them out of their wheelchairs and onto his paramotor.
